RISE above industry challenges in 2021

By April 26, 2021 No Comments

23 April 2021, IRVINE, CA. –Addressing the unique challenges our industry faces is always difficult,
even without the added pressure of the global pandemic. Traditional IFE’s slow adaption of consumer
technologies, costly and slow-to-deliver software updates, complex processes to integrate 3 rd party
apps making them cost prohibitive, and inflexible business models around the licensing and distribution
of content are all examples of frustrations and challenges that have burdened our industry for years, to
the detriment of airline success and the passenger experience they provide.

We understand this very well. We are a team of industry experts passionate about solving such airline
challenges. Many of our people have worked on the airline side or are veterans of this industry with the
unique knowledge of what’s been tried and tested, what works and what doesn’t work.

That is why we forged ahead to launch our new platform, RISE in the middle of a pandemic, because
we know these solutions really will make a difference to all airlines, their business, and their loyal
customers. That is why we are excited to showcase the unique features of RISE during the FTEAPEX
Virtual Expo 2021.

Once again Burrana is delighted to participate as a platinum sponsor in this pivotal event. As an
exhibitor we will have 24/7 coverage across our regional sales teams to meet with airlines and
colleagues to discuss how we solve industry challenges with the adoption of any part of the RISE
platform.

The RISE platform is a flexible, scalable, and configurable portfolio consisting of hardware, software,
apps and services. RISE delivers any combination of wireless, overhead, and seatback entertainment
as well as in-seat power for narrow and wide body aircraft, linefit and retrofit. The platform has been
thoughtfully designed to grow with airlines as they are ready, ensuring longevity and relevance for their
onboard product. Powered by a single software stack, shared hardware, and common power
backbone, RISE can easily be scaled up or down depending on business need.

Additionally, for airlines seeking a narrowbody upgrade solution that is simple and effective we have
some exciting developments to share regarding our narrowbody tech refresh to reduce weight and
obsolescence, including PRAM, Digital Audio, Tape Replacement, and the latest 3D Moving Maps.
This upgrade can easily be enhanced with Wireless IFE, In-Seat Power and/or 4K Overhead monitors.

We very much look forward to seeing our industry friends at this expo. Airlines can drop into our booth
to view videos, book a meeting, have a chat, or visit the OnDemand Conference Session to learn
more about How to RISE above industry challenges in 2021. We are also hosting a live session at the
Burrana booth during the course of the show.
